camping
camping The pitch black sky blanketed us as we snuggled
Up in our blankets and sleeping bags.
Slowly our enthusiasm drained away as the cold wind blew I clinged titly to my sleeping bag. Finally we started to get to sleep after a lot of tossing and turning
On the uncuttable mattresses when suddenly a big could gust of wind blew the tent.
Korkar korkar! “What's that noise” I whispered to Georgie in fear
“It's just the wildlife echoing from a distance” George replied.
Slowly Georgie and I looked up at the shimmering stars shining along side the moon. The moon made shadows all around the lawn.
We shiverd with iceyness as we sunk back into our sleeping bags while shifted around I felt like someone was watching us.
After hours of trying to get to sleep I mumbeled “whats the time” “3.32” replied Georgie while trying to get to sleep “good night sleep tight “ I drooled. But it wasn't that easy there were loud spockey echos flowing with the wind there were trees waving side to side and georgie snoring ten suddenly there was a loud beep!! Suddenly Georgie and I jumped while wondering what was happening finally we realized it was time for the dawn parade “oo I didn't get any sleep I angrily moaned.

The swimming competition
“Chloe It’s time for your 50 fly” said our club manager.”ow come on mum why do I have to do 50 fly the wall is down so it makes it even longer and it’s so exhausting” I said reluctantly as I maneuvered to the marshalling area. Anxiously I sat down and waited for my name to be called.Cautiously I stepped up onto the block.Butterflies were going coucou inside my tummy. Take your marks beep! Before long I was in the water and I was surprised at how good I was going and I was going at a tremendous speed as I reached the flags I started to putter out and couldn't move my arms but luckily I made it.

My name is Chloe and I was born in Gisborne. I live with my mum and dad, my two brothers and my sister. The sports I play are hockey, netball, swimming and surf lifesaving. At school I enjoy maths, writing, reading and p.e.
This year I am looking forward to going to my hockey tournament in Hawkes Bay and representing my school. I’m also looking forward to the rippa rugby and fast five netball tournaments. I have my birthday and the school cross-country coming up in August. In July I am competing in a swimming competition in Hawkes Bay.
